General terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Earnie, including our website at tryearnie.com and the Earnie application (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using Earnie, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Who Earnie is for

Earnie is a family money-management tool for parents and caregivers. You are responsible for how the Service is used in your household, including any child profiles you create.

Your account

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting unauthorized access, disrupting the Service, creating fraudulent or automated accounts, or using Earnie in violation of applicable law.

Privacy

How we collect and use information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Service changes

Earnie will continue to evolve. We may improve, modify, replace, or discontinue features as the product develops. We will not use this section to weaken the Founding Family promise described below.

Disclaimers

Earnie is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not provide banking, investment, tax, or legal advice. You remain responsible for the real-world money you manage for your family.

Founding Family Terms

Earnie's first 50 qualifying families are recognized as Founding Families.

1. Free for life

Founding Families receive access to Earnie's core features at no subscription cost for as long as Earnie remains commercially available.

There is no recurring subscription fee for the core Earnie experience included with your Founding Family account.

2. What's included

Your Founding Family access includes the core features of Earnie available to families, including ordinary improvements and updates to those features over time.

We may introduce new optional products, premium add-ons, third-party services, or features with significant additional costs to provide. These may be offered separately and are not necessarily included with Founding Family access.

You will never be required to purchase an optional paid feature in order to keep your Founding Family access to Earnie's core features.

3. Founding Family status

Founding Family status is awarded to the first 50 qualifying family accounts and is tied to the original Earnie family account.

Founding Family numbers are permanent and are not transferable or available for resale.

If a Founding Family account is permanently deleted, its Founding Family number is retired and will not be reassigned.

4. Test and fraudulent accounts

Test, development, automated, duplicate, fraudulent, or otherwise ineligible accounts do not qualify for Founding Family status.

Earnie may remove Founding Family status that was obtained through abuse, fraud, or an obvious technical error.

5. Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining access to your Earnie account and keeping your account information accurate.

6. Changes to Earnie

Earnie will continue to evolve. Features may be improved, replaced, modified, or discontinued as the product develops.

Nothing in these terms guarantees that Earnie or any particular feature will operate indefinitely.

7. What "for life" means

"Free for life" refers to the lifetime of the Earnie service, not the lifetime of an individual user.

If Earnie permanently ceases operating or is no longer commercially available, the Founding Family benefit ends with the service.

8. Other terms

Use of Earnie remains subject to Earnie's general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

These Founding Family Terms supplement those terms specifically for the Founding Family offer.
